When you or your dentist notices unexplained changes in your oral health, a physical examination isn’t always sufficient to diagnose your condition. The cells in those areas may require special examination in order to determine the cause. That’s where the Krupp Center comes in.
When your dentist refers you to the Krupp Center for a biopsy, we’ll remove some or all of the tissue in the afflicted area. During your biopsy, we’ll also perform a comprehensive diagnostic exam to make sure the rest of your mouth and teeth look healthy. We examine this tissue in a laboratory to evaluate and diagnose the issue at hand. Accurate identification is the first step towards effective treatment.
