Face Peels in Towson

During a traditional chemical peel, you would come to our office, receive treatment, and then return home to recover using our recommended products for healing. With a ZO® 3 Step Peel or ZO® Blue Peel, your chemical peel and recovery products are all manufactured by ZO®. This provides you with a seamless experience that enhances your results.

After your appointment for one of our face peels in Towson, you’ll continue your care at home with specialized healing and hydrating serums. For the best results, we typically recommend a series of ZO® face peels spaced several weeks apart.

Before your chemical peel, you and your aesthetician discuss your skin concerns and what you’d like to achieve with a ZO® chemical peel. We carry several depths of chemical peels, so we’ll use this information to help you choose the right one.
Like a traditional chemical peel, you lay back in one of our comfortable treatment chairs while we apply the solution to your skin. We let the solution penetrate to the desired depth before neutralizing it and cleaning your face. This process takes about half an hour. Afterwards, we send you home with the accompanying ZO® products to recover at home.

The length of your recovery depends on the depth of the peel. At the Krupp Center, we offer ZO® face peels in Towson that require between 4 to 14 days of recovery. During this time, the upper layers of dead and damaged cells peel away, uncovering deeper layers of healthy skin.

We provide detailed instructions about how and when to apply your additional ZO® products to soothe your complexion and hydrate your new skin cells. After completing your entire course of treatment, you can enjoy your radiant complexion for about 3 to 6 months. By maintaining a consistent skincare routine, you can help maintain and extend your results for even longer.

The amount of discomfort caused by a chemical peel depends on the depth of the peel and your skin’s sensitivity. Some lighter peels may feel completely comfortable, while deeper peels may cause some light stinging or burning.
